Our signature butter cake with cooked caramel icing. We ice one caramel cake at a time by browning granulated sugar in a small cast iron skillet while battling the Mississippi humidity to get the icing right for the specific conditions each and every day.

Sugar, evaporated milk (milk, dipotassium phosphate, carrageenan, vitamin D3), eggs, enriched wheat flour, buttermilk, butter, baking soda, baking powder (corn starch, sodium bicarbonate, sodium aluminum sulfate, monocalcium phosphate), vanilla extract, salt.

Serves: 12-16. Storage: Store at room temperature for up to 7 days. Thawing instructions: Frozen – Leave the wrap on your cake to defrost, and allow 4 hours at room temperature for your cake to thaw. On Dry Ice – Leave wrap on cake to defrost, and allow 8 hours at room temperature for cake to thaw.
