We’re located in the heart of charming, historic New Albany, Mississippi, inside a quirky old building with the store in the front and the bakery in the back. You’ll find a huge spread of freshly baked delights, including many only available to those who stop by in person.

Now in our third decade, Sugaree’s has stayed true to its origin as a labor of love and to our commitment to authentic, from-scratch, Southern baking. Over time, we’ve been able to spread the flavors and textures of classic, regional layer cakes far and wide. But we still bake every one of them behind our storefront in New Albany, under the watchful eye of Sugaree’s secret ingredient – Mary Jennifer Russell.
